Re: If you are bored
Agreed.
It's official... I hate her.

I love how so many posters in that post are acting like Bliss is a NORMAL person who just happens to have fallen on hard times and needs a bit of assistance to get back on her feet.
No... this isn't a "who does/doesn't deserve welfare" debate. This is a "Bliss needs to learn how to be an adult" debate.

Please enlighten me on 3 things I can do right NOW that will help my situation. (That I haven't already done.)
Go.
This is old news.
Now she has hurt her back in her new job and, days in, she wants to call in sick.
How's that job working out for you, Bliss?
It's working out great. I love it.
I've actually been working there for a few months, not days. Keep up, woman. I received a doctor's note for my injury. Turns out I really jacked up my back and need to rest it for a few days. Not do the repetitive movement of turning to bag groceries for 72 hours. I'll be back to work on Friday.
No one ever seems to remember the fact that she talked about using money for selling her TV for a birthday outfit (although of course that idea was quickly taken off the table when everyone on MM was like WTF?), liquor, or how she was going to be putting money in for a housekeeper (since apparently three able-bodied adults can't clean a freaking living space themselves). Sure wish I could hop on some government assistance so I could pay down my debt and finish school while working full time and caring for a toddler. But oh wait. I have pride. And priorities, which don't include dropping $200 at Costco for random crap and booze.
People also don't remember when I post updates regarding these multiple page threads.
I was talking about spending maybe $30 on a dress for my birthday from the $175 that I sold the TV for. IRL the money went to a credit card and I picked up a dress for $5 from a consignment boutique.
The housekeeper thing; my roommate bought a Groupon. We've used it once and love it. It's an x amount of service and not a regularly occurring service.
Like I said in the Costco post, I use it for gas and TP. Utah liquor laws prevent the sale of liquor at any store other than a liquor store. I'm relocating to CA this May where you can buy wine at Wal-Mart or the gas station. This is a miracle for someone where liquor stores regularly close at 7 PM. I've NEVER dropped $200 at Costco. I don't think I've even hit $100; and that's including an eye exam I had there once. I mentioned that in the post but people only see what they want to see.
So sorry. I totally dropped the ball there.
When do you graduate and when are you planning to move?
::points down::: I graduate in 94 days. I'm planning to move 10 days after that. Job search begins tomorrow.
