are there any outside cafe places
by lake eola? going to the fall festival at lake eola and would like to grab some lunch down there, but its been so long since i've been there that i have no idea what is down there anymore! can anyone recommend a place in walking distance that has outside seating and yummy food?
Re: are there any outside cafe places
The Globe is the first place that comes to mind. It's part of Wall St. Plaza, so not on the lake, but a very short walk. I still miss the menu that they had under their old ownership, but the current menu is good too.
There is also a Panera next to Lake Eola. I'm blanking on the street address, but I'm sure you can find it online.
There used to be that 903 Cityside (owned by the folks from 903 Mills), but I heard a rumor that it closed down. Anyone know if that's true?
There's also Eola Wine Company, which I haven't been to yet, but keep hearing about, and if you go over in the direction of Thornton Park, there's a bunch more places there. I think Wildsides and a couple other places seat outdoors.
Have fun--this is perfect weather for dining al fresco!
Ah - that's the name!!! It's a great location
Isn't that sad? That's where we had our rehearsal dinner and it's no longer there....
