Baby registry do's and don'ts

Okay ladies I need some advice.  We are getting ready to register and I am just looking for some do's and don'ts.

Is there anything you wish you would have registered for or had that you didn't think of?  What about things you did register for and then didn't use?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks girls!

Re: Baby registry do's and don'ts

  • Don't be afraid to register for high-priced items, especially a breast pump. You would be surprised at how generous people will be, and if they don't buy it, you can get it with a registry discount.
  • The only thing I wouldn't register for is a convertible car seat. Only because they expire, so it will lose a lot of life while you use the infant seat.

  • Don't NOT register for something just because someone told you not to.  Different items work/don't work for different people.

If you want it, register for it.

  • Be sure to put different sizes of clothes/onesies on the registry. Not just all newborn (my 2nd never wore NB size and was in 0-3mos for only a month). Have fun!
