Ellis is 8 years old. He has always had stool issues-soft, runny etc. for the past month or so they have been consistently soft, light colored and/or runny. Never any blood. He eats fine, acts normal and doesn't puke any more than any other cat. Do you think he needs to go in?

Katie Talks About...
If he has always had soft stool issues, have you tried to fix them before? My cats eat CS dry also, and their stools are perfectly fine with it, but not every animal's digestion will work as well on the same food as another animal's will. Your kitty's digestive system might just be more sensitive, so gradually transitioning to a different dry food might be a good first move. That way you can see if he does better with something different. You're already feeing TOTW wet, so you can always try that for dry food.
By "he doesn't puke any more than any other cat," how often is that? I have a kitty who used to throw up at least weekly on her previous food. It dropped drastically when we switched to CS and added high-quality wet food into the mix.
