Friend's 14 yr old daughter was found!
Re: Friend's 14 yr old daughter was found!
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be misquoted and used against you. My Blog
This is my line of thinking. I know that the family insisted all along that there was no way she would run away. And I'm certain that if she was anywhere in the area she had to know how hard they were searching for her. If she did run away then I couldn't imagine how that would make me feel as her parent.
I can't imagine that either. Also, she could have legal issues if it's determined she's a runaway. In Montgomery county (my only frame of reference) you can get put on probation until you're 18. And have stipulations on you as to where you can go without parental permission. It happened to a friend of mine in high school and it was a PAIN.
I think 99% of families with a run away think there is no way their kid would do that. While she definitely needs to see some serious repercussions, I hope they also take the time to look at the reasons she may have run away. In any case, I'm glad she;s back with her family!
As much as I hate to even go down this road since her father is a long time friend of DH's, you couldn't be more right.
Is this the one that ended up missing new Year's Eve?
If not, any news on that young girl?
That is her.
