I'm so sorry.
I will tell you that choosing a d&c was the best decision I made during that time. It was over so quickly and it was painless. I had kept our baby for almost 4 weeks with no development, so they really urged me to do a d&c because of the risk of infection, but I would have chosen it anyway. Who knows how much longer I would have had to wait. And what if I wasn't home, or near someone, or alone with DS? Too many whatifs for me. I was able to move on and heal emotionally much faster.
