i just need 5 min to myself!!

on top of the stress of my husband losing his job i'm going CRAZY having him here, on the couch ALL THE TIME.  we have a small house and there's no escaping anyone so i have ZERO  down time to decompress.  at least i prepaid my gym membership for 6 months so i'm there as much as i can handle for some alone time. at least i'll be in shape by the time he gets a job LOL...

  • Ugh, I can only imagine.  MH was home for about a week straight over the holidays and I thought I was going a little crazy towards the end.. hope you get some good alone time soon!  Yeah, maybe all that time at the gym will pay off  ;)  I've actually considered joining a gym just to have an excuse to get out of the house/alone time more often myself.

  • I know the feeling!  My H works the same hours as I do but I have a longer commute.  He's still home when I leave in the morning, and home again when I come back.  He's not 'bothering' me per se, but it would be nice to a little time alone to decompress, I agree.  Can you suggest he take the kids out for a walk or to the park for fresh air?

The winter is tough because there's not really anything to go out and do that doesn't cost money.  In the fall, spring, and summer we both participate in outdoor activities, which give the other some alone time.
