Leap Pad vs Innotab

I am at a loss because both get such mixed reviews.  Maddie is going to be 2 in March and we'd like to get her one of the two for her birthday.  I am leaning towards the Leap Pad but would like any and all feeback.

Nicholas has the Innotab. He's a pretty sharp kid (if I do say so myself) but I think it's pretty safe to say there is no way he would have grasped using it at 2. Even at 3, he doesn't really use it properly, but is getting endless enjoyment from it. He knows how to choose an icon, but only plays one game the correct way. He also keeps turning it off unintentionally and changing the settings (there is no way to lock them in, ugh). The main reasons we got it over the Leappad is that it was cheaper, the games are generally cheaper, the screen is bigger and it will play movies (allegedly, we haven't explored this yet).

I love the leap products.  Our oldest has the leappad and Parker knows how to get to the game trailers on it and he loves just watching them.

We have a leappad and our two year old whips around it pretty easily. She can play the majority of the games except for those intended for older children, but you wouldn't download those games to it anyway.
