How much do you pay for daycare?
I know this has been asked a million times but I have never paid attention.
Specifically those who use centers? I know it will vary from place to place so those in the denver metro area will probably have a more accurate price. I have called a few places and of course they want you to take the tour and right now we are not yet at that point.
Also does anyone have a kiddo in daycare that also goes to preschool somewhere else? How does the school handle this?
TIA
Re: How much do you pay for daycare?
my read shelf:
I would say on average, you're going to spend about $250/week.
On a side note, if you are considering PS for Fall, now would be the time to apply.
DD get's early intervention and we are all pretty sure she will qualify for free preschool in the fall so unless something changes and she doesn't then she will not be going for another year or 2. Since she will be 6 when she start kindergarten.
So my concern would be her getting to and from preschool.
ETA: By all of us I mean DH, myself, her speech therapist, and her service cordinator with jeffco.

We pay $624/ month for 3 full days. If she was just there for preschool it would be $443/ month.
A also qualified for preschool through Childfind for speech and some special education services and we would have had the same problem with getting here there for preschool and picking her up. She did attend the jeffco preschool for the beginnings class last spring and the director gave us some names of child care centers that would transport to the preschool but we never got around to actually looking into costs, etc. DH and I were not sure she actually needed the services or needed to be in a more structured school environment. She had been going to same inhome daycare since she was 3 months. We signed her up for a summer program and she excelled, her speech improved and we decided we were going to leave her at that preschool for the school year and closed her IEP. We have been very open with her teachers and they feel she is exactly on track so we are happy with our decision. I don't know if this will help you but thought I'd share since our journey started in the same place yours is headed.
