It's Official... I'm a Sucker for Spots
Yeah yeah yeah... I'm a GSP girl, but sometimes I just can't say no to spots... This 9 month old string bean was at our local shelter and his time was drawing nigh, so I figured I'd bring him home to foster. Plus, no one else seems to know bird dogs...
It's a good thing DH has a soft spot for setters. This guy is a total sweetheart/goober. He's leggy, no training, total puppy, but so soft and cuddly and much calmer than a GSP. He has a super underbite, and you have to carry a towel at all times because of all the drool (sooooo nasty, never had a dog like this). He seems to love lying on dirty clothes (he hit the jackpot at our house, by golly) as well as chew bones and playing rambunctiously. I have to keep telling DH he's not staying with us, and then DH will walk around cradling him like a baby saying things like "He's ours now!" HAH! Funny...

Yep, he's a purebred English Setter. He's a really tall one, not the short field setters or Llewellins we often see around here, so despite the underbite I have a feeling that someone who sort of knew ES's bred him. I've sent out a few emails to folks around me that breed, in case he's one of theirs.
And I'm sure he'd love a buddy like Lucy
