Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I am SO READY to be working again!!! Ugh!!!
The dog has been sick and he's on Prednisone right now so he's hungry and thirsty all the time and has to pee like crazy so he's begging to go out/eat/drink ALL DAY LONG, following me around, stealing Emmaline's food... driving me over the edge!!!
On top of that, Emmaline is going through some horrible sleep transition thing and is struggling with naps! I have the hardest time getting her to go down for a nap right now so I barely get a break at all during my day! She's overtired so she's crabby which makes everything so much harder!
Sorry to vent, especially since DH took DD to visit his parents all day on Saturday and I had a lovely day of nesting and reading... I'm just so overwhelmed with this stuff and the lack of time each day for myself! I also received another 2 job rejections today and am feeling completely bruised right now.
I was accepted as a substitute teacher in Adams District 12 but that means it's time to start looking for a drop-in daycare center near us. Anyone trust one in Aurora? (225 and 6th Ave - ish?).

I have no info on anyone in Aurora, but we live in Adams 12, so you can always bring her here if you want! It would likely be at least somewhat close to where you'll be. We're usually up for playdates, too, if you just want some adult company.
I hope you get lots of calls! DH got 3 rejections today too, and was in the middle of filing out an app for a job in Nevada when it closed (stupid time change) so he's feeling pretty dang beat up too.
Let me know if you want to get together sometime, and seriously, you can always bring Emmaline here if you need to!

Thanks! I'll look! I checked a couple weeks ago and they only wanted 5 year certs and/or retired/laid off teachers from the district (same as Cherry Creek). I'll look again though! I have my counseling license (k-12) and a 3 year sub license, FTR : )
