What CD did you have your HSG?
99% sure I'm not pregnant this cycle, so it's on to Femara and an HSG next cycle. Can't wait...
I thought my midwife (not the RE I'm seeing now who will actually be doing the HSG; she didn't tell me which day yet) had told me they usually do HSGs on CD3, but from reading online, it seems like it's CD7-10. Just curious when yours was if you had one. And any helpful hints?

Re: What CD did you have your HSG?
Mine was on CD 10. My dr felt comfortable doing it then because I typically ovulated on cd 22 or so.
I recommend taking the day off, having someone drive you, and taking the ibuprofen prior. Mine was terrible and super traumatic for me for whatever reason, I bawled the whole way home.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
My RE said anytime between CD 6-10. We did mine on CD 11 but that was because I'm taking Clomid & it makes me ovulate much later (CD 18-20)...so he said doing the HSG on CD 11 was just fine.
Good luck! My doc instructed me to take 800mg ibuprofen the night before & another 800mg of ibuprofen an hr. before the procedure...very helpful!
Mine was CD9. The HSG didn't hurt me that much, but it was crampy. I didn't have any blockage so that might have been why it didn't hurt as much as others.
Definitely take 800mg of Advil a couple hours beforehand. I don't remember if I went to work after the HSG or not. I didn't spot that much either, but did wear a pad for the rest of the day just in case.
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
