Anyone know the legal requirement on this?

I know companies have until today to mail W2s and 1099s. If one is wrong and the employee points it out and asks that it be fixed, is there a requirement on how long they have to fix it. I pointed it out last week when I got the w2 if that matters. (Plus I warned them last Feb to make sure they took it into account when we fixed last years!

I just got "I'll fix it when I have time" and I'm a bit afraid that will mean April 14th. I really want to file ASAP as it will free up a h1tload of money sitting in my business account.

And an added vent: It really isn't necessary to point out that it's going to cost you an extra $300 to fix my W2 and your W3 because of your screw up.
