DS has a fever...what's going around?

My 21 month DS and I were out earlier today and he was himself, playing with trains at B&N. Then in a matter of 20 minutes he looked so tired, wouldn't eat any lunch (we were eating out which he usually enjoys) and he definetly has a fever (I didn't take his temp yet). He feel asleep in the car immediatley...so what has been going around?

ANd DH just commented last night "Wow, I can't beleive R hasn't gotten sick yet, he must have my superior immune system". Totally jinked us! lol

DD was up all night with the stomach bug- hope he doesn't get that!

I'm a teacher and it's been running around my school like crazy recently

teething, virus, ear infection... could be a lot of things. 'Tis the season.

Within the past 2 weeks my kids have both had: high fevers, coughs, runny noses, pink eye and the stomach bug.

Strep throat, ear infections, and pink eye here. Twice.

ds had a stomach bug 2 weeks ago... then last week he caught some sort of virus.. which brought on a double ear infection.. a wonderful 4 days (home from daycare) with high fevers, cough, runny nose and sleepless nights.  : )

and now he is healthy and I have his cold.  joy.

we all just got over a stomach bug - i really hope he doesn't get it! horrible!

My son had a fever for 2 days with no other symptoms. He just looked sick, was really tired but bounced back quick. No one else in the house got it, but now he has a cold, my husband and I have colds as well about a week later.

How high of a fever?  DS was just sick, ped thinks it was roseola because he broke out in a hive like rash a few days after the fever broke.  Turns out our neighbors daughter had the same thing.
