Strange Behavior

I know I've been posting a TON lately, so bare with me Big Smile I don't know if it's because H and I moved and I'm noticing every little thing about the pets, if I'm paranoid, etc.

Anyway, Jasper is acting really strange since we moved. He's been super skittish (this morning H said he wouldn't leave the hallway and was shaking like he was in trouble), super clingy (has to be on the couch/bed next to us at all times or he whines), and he is constantly looking out the window whining. He has also had a hard time with basic commands ie) sit, stay, lay down and especially  off/down.

Is it possible he just has anxiety? What else could it be?

If it keeps up we'll be taking him to the vet.

In other news, Rosco Cat's cold has gone away. He loves his TOW food!

Dakota broke a nail the other day, and seems fine. Luckily just the quick was broke, we think. H was freaking a bit from the blood but it stopped after a reasonable amount of time. However, I did notice he nails are brittle looking, is there a vitamin deficiency going on here? is there something we can give her for healthier nails?

Re: Strange Behavior

  • my dogs were definitely on edge when we first moved into the apartment.  within a couple weeks though, they were back to their normal lazy selves.  i'd try to give him a little more exercise and break out his favorite toys and treats for playtime.  hard to be twitchy when you're having fun.

He's definitely getting more exercise! Previously, we lived in a townhouse and he could only be out on a leash, now he has a HUGE fenced yard to play in! We've been out every day. Dakota is teaching him all kinds of games!
