iPhone 4 cases--Hard/Rubber..what case is better?
I am finally getting an iphone...just wondering what type of case u recommend. Is the hard case durable or go with the silicone one? Just want to protect it from getting scratched, hoping my kids don't break it too!
Thanks

They have a new one, otterbox commuter. It's much more sleek and doesn't add to the size of the phone like the original.
I assume you are getting the 4, right? I have a soft cover on it and generally like it but it does sometimes slide off if I just have the phone tossed in my purse; I try to remember to take the extra 5 seconds and put it in the phone pouch in my bags. I also have a hard case from Kate Spade - I like it but Rob thinks it feels too boxy. I know a lot of people who love the Otterbox cover, as well (Amazon and REI both sell them).
Get a screen protector,it's just a sheet that sticks to the screen that's what you need to protect it. As long as the phone is in the case, the rest of it will be fine as well.
Otterbox is definitely the most durable.. Though not the cutest/most stylish choice.
Mh has one on his phone but he does labor intensive work. I have a Casecrown (amazon) on mine. It's a hard plastic 2pc that snaps together. I also have a screen protector.
I have this one. The case is very sleek - I love it.

I bought DH the otterbox. He drops his phone all the time and it has survived.
Moreover, it doubles as an infant teether (lol) and has survived several drool sessions
