Chicco Car seat Users

I just installed the baby boy's chicco keyfit 3o in fuego..lol.

Anyways, on the actual seat, the canopy is SO tight that I cant get it to go over the back of the seat.  It seems like whatever wire or band is in the canopy is too small to go over it.  Did anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

It is bad enough it wont fit over the back of the seat by it self. I actually am trying to put a winter car seat cover over it and that will add to the girth of the stupid seat...grrr.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute!!

If you are referring to the front part of the canopy...I dont think it is intended to fold all the way back past the seat.  Ours always was partly covering her even when pushed back. I used to notice in the mall, etc that in other brands of seats the canopy went back much further than the Chicco did.   We were still able to fit a bundle me on her seat even with the canopy as it was.

Ok thanks. I am used to LB's Graco where the whole canopy went all the way back.  Thanks : )

this! i was very disappointed that the canopy didnt go further down.

Hmm I'm pretty sure our canopy does go all the way back but, maybe because ours is two years old (from DS).  Perhaps they've changed the design in that time?  We never had a problem with the Bundle Me either, it's on and in the car right now.
