Decision made..

So you know the job opening that I posted about oh about a week ago.?! Well I'm not applying for it.. So one decision made, but now the next one that I need to decide on.

I've been seriously considering asking H's uncle/aunt if I can work in their greenhouse (part-time - 4ish days a week) again for about 1 1/2-2 months (I wouldn't work longer than the end of March) before baby comes. This way I still have several other days a week to get things done around my house as well as work on little projects that need doing.

I really don't have that much stuff that I have to do yet.. still need to finish the quilt but hey I can get that done fairly quickly if I put my mind to it. So now I need to think it over for a bit yet and decide if I want to go talk to them or not...

  • is money an issue, is this why you're looking for work? personally i'd be doing everything i can to get *out* of work at this stage in pregnancy. what about something less labor intensive? can you you try doing something like an etsy shop or something? manual labor just doesn't sound fun to me right now.

This. I'm not pregnant and manual labor sounds tiring.

  • i totally think you should go for it. the only problem is that as you get further along you may not want to do it. gl though. i'd want to stay busy, keep my mind off the due date. i'm seriously hoping to work up to the day i go into labor.

  • Winter is always the worst for $$ for us... Especially now with having to get all this baby stuff, it's not like we can't make due with what we have but a little extra would be nice.

Also as for it sounding like it's hard work, personally yes it may be because I'd be on my feet most days, but at the same time it's better than sitting for me right now. Especially because of my sciatic nerve. Standing/Walking is actually one of the big things that the Dr. has recommended I be doing a lot more of, which I would be if I was working in the greenhouse!

We'll see what happens though because nothing is set in stone. Smile
