Anyones kids have cough and fever?

My DD has had both since Sat nite and I'm losing my mind. We went to the dr yesterday who said its a virus...yada, yada. He told me to try benadryl at night which didnt work (along with the cliche honey, humidifier, etc). She's been up 3 nights straight coughing and the fever wont break. My last resort is to try delsym tonite (the dr gave permission). This thing just wont quit. Anyone else have this?

she had the fever last week, the cough is still lingering. 

there isnt really anything the dr's can do. it sucks!!!!

No fever here...just a pretty bad cough.  But you'd never know it by the way she's acting!

It's been the same here with Stephanie and Eva.  I'm trying to keep them hydrated, keep the fever down and have been giving them Maty's All Natural Cough Syrup.  It's safe for kids to take.

Evan doesn't have a fever but he has a nasty cough and has had it for a few days complete with boogers.  He had his well visit on Monday and the ped didn't say a word about it (I guess since his temp was normal).  I hope everyone feels better soon!
