Pediatrician Suggestions
Hi all. I'm new to the area and looking for suggestions for a pediatrician for my almost 1 year old daughter. I took her to Metro Health Southwest for her 9 month check up but I think I want to switch to Spectrum Health. We live in Allendale so I'd like to find one not too far away. Any suggestions? Also, do you recommend a pediatrician or a family practice doc. It seems like I might be able to find a closer family practice doc but I'm not sure how I feel about her not going to a pediatrician. I'm a SAHM so I don't know a lot of people to ask their opinion. Thanks for your help!

Oops. Double Post.
We use Kentwood Family Practice. Which I dont think would work for you. That said I love our Doc. We used a Pediatrican for about 2 years with my first baby. Then he got a job offer to be the head of childreans reaserch at a university in DC. I looked and looked for another one with no luck. So now i just take all 5 of my kids to our family Doc.
I don't think that my kids are getting secound rate care at all. I really enjoy our visits, and all of the office staff love seeing my little monsters!
