Kids birthday parties out at a party place...question!

I have narrowed down where I want to have my daughter's 3rd birthday party, but a question for you all!  The package includes the kids' food (pizza and juice), and charges extra for feeding adults.  Do you tend to have pizza for the adults too?  The party is only an hour an a half, but will be around lunchtime.  What do you think?

Re: Kids birthday parties out at a party place...question!

  • When my daughter was younger I always provided food for the adults.  Now that she is a bit older most parents drop off so I don't worry about it as much but I still order a bit extra for family that may drive a sitance to attend.

  • Yeah I would have food for the adults.  I've never been to a party where there is no food the adults.

  • OK that sounds good!  I just wanted to get a general idea of the proper etiquette, we've only done parties at our house where there was plenty of food to go around for everyone.  Thank you!

  • This was our first year having a party out. Weh didn't do anything extra for the parents but after the kids ate some of the. Had a slice of pizza and a cupcake. I never expect to be fed at these things, personally, and don't think most do. When we had a friends party at home last year there was food for everyone.

  • I did and it was all eaten
  • We always have extra pizzas for the parents and they always get eaten.

I can't say I'd be annoyed if there wasn't pizza for me, but it is nice.

  • I always have enough pizza and cake for the parents.

  • i had ordered enough pizza for the parents as well.  I think the place did 2 pies for the kids (sliced small) then 3 full pies for the adults and that was plenty. I didn't have tons of people.  i would base 2 slices per adult. and if you have extra take it home.  I had one cake made up and that was plenty for everyone.  I also had Dunkin Donuts 2 boxes of joe for the adults and the place provided soda for adults and juice for the kids
