All you football fans (or husbands who are football fans), what are you planning for if your having a party???
We will definitely be having a tray of ziti and we ordered a large tray of cold cuts. That way ppl can make their own sandwiches.
Im considering a few diff apps- deviled eggs, onion dip, 7 layer dip, hot crab dip.
We also picked up some of those hot apps From the store.
Im sure most guests will be bringing beer. Lol
Land I have a box of carrot cake I can make for dessert with cream cheese icing.
Whats on your menu ?? GO GIANTS!!!!!!!
Re: Super Bowl Menu
we ALWAYS went to a friends house for a super bowl party but i cant justify going this year with the baby. He is getting over an ear infection and half our friends still live at home with their parents.
It's just me and the hubs. He's a HUGE Giants fan. And I hope they break Tom Brady's face. (I am a die hard Jets fan). ANYWAY,
We are getting sandwiches from our favorite Italian Deli and I am making healthy football snacks I saw on pinterest.
we are having a 2 family superbowl party... going to our old neighbors house, so the kids can play and the men can watch football in the mancave...
I'm thinking of kid friendly snacks too -
pigs in a blanket?
boneless chicken? or just nuggets?
chips and dip
Not many bigger Giants fans in this world other than myself. Just hoping the game does not put me into labor... I would have to stay until it was over anyways..lol
the party is here. Us, my parents, in-laws, BIL and if I must, the other BIL and his family. Hoping the neighbors come over as well because the two men in that family yell at the TV almost as much as I do.
I am making:
Apps: BBQ & hot wings, buffalo chicken dip, chips & onion dip, Nachos & cheese/salsa, mozzey sticks, sausage bites & possibly chicken bites for the kiddos if I have time.
Food: baked ziti, eggplant parm, and possibly soemthing else.
Dessert: football cuppy cakes & football cookies
Out tradition too!! I missed Janet Jackson's boob because we went to friendlys to get an ice cream cake!!
Literally just LOL'ed.
dh is making wings, they are his special recipie, kind of teriyaki style. And I am gonna make chicken enchiladas and maybe a bean dip. We are just watching with my family so it's only a few of us.
And I have to say, go Pats! Lol. DH is from Boston so I am going for peace at home (jets fan here:(). I don't think he is over that loss 4 years ago...
I would love to be eating whatever is on the Maternity Ward menu. Anyone have a magic catering form to make that happen??
Yum to all of your menus!!! We'll be watching the game this year but, actually planning a party was going to be too much of a jinx. Ordering a pizza sounds good to me.
Canon 50D, Canon 50mm f/1.4, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, Speedlite 430EX II
If you figure out how to make this happen please let me know. I would love to be watching the game from the maternity ward. Otherwise its nothing special here....
It's just going to be the 2 of us, I'm thinking:
shrimp cocktail
guac and scoops
baked buffalo wings
Kendra316's warm vidalia swiss dip
