Favorite date-night restaurants?

What are your favorite date-night restaurants, both casual and nice?

For nice, we love The Haunted House. I also love Red Prime, but I have a hard time paying the kind of price for a restaurant--yeesh it can get pricey!

For casual, we like Salt Grass, Hideaway Pizza, and Humble Pie (if we feel like driving to Edmond).

Mmmmmm....restaurants!!!

We like The Ranch - but since we have been trying to get Under Control in 2012, we haven't been since our anniversary.  I like Red Prime (they have that $35 fixed price menu) and I also like sitting in the bar at Michael's.

For casual...we usually end up at McAlester's (I am a sucker for a good iced tea), Mazzios, or Louie's. We are a barrel of fun, that's for sure.

For fancier we tend to go to Boulevard (convenience) or Signature Grill.

For more casual fare we have a hard time passing up Thai Delight, The Wedge, Humble Pie, The Sushi Bar, or lately we've been getting crab cakes at Whole Foods and scallops and mussels at the Meat House and cooking them at home.

Lately, our "fancy" dinners have involved us picking up some fun stuff from WF and cooking at home. I *love* going to WF and picking out stuff for dinner. YUM!

My very favorite date restaurant is Queen of Sheba, especially on a Friday night.  It is so much less crowded than most restaurants, which makes it easier to have a nice conversation and really focus on each other.  H and I don't like the same things there, so we get our own plates, but they have big combo platter things that I think would add a little extra romance to eat from together. (If you've never eaten Ethiopian, you eat with your hands by tearing off small pieces of a flat bread called injera and using it to pick up the food. ETA: I thought this sounded BIZARRE before I ate there for the first time, but I really enjoy it, and it is DELICIOUS.)

I also LOVE Picasso on Paseo, but it is usually pretty packed.  My favorite nice date restaurants are Deep Fork and Paseo Grill.

We love going for sushi at Okura.  Also love The Wedge, Deep Fork, Abuelo's, and Cafe Do Brasil.  We also love just getting crab cakes from WF and cooking those too! They're delish. WF is awesome.

I guess we don't really do "nice" restaurants Lol. When we go out to eat, some of our go-to restaurants are Outback, Johnny Carino's, Toby Keith's, Logan's, and Ted's. If we happen to be out for lunch we love McAlister's.

We don't either. We usually do "chain" resturants, but we do love Asian Fusion and Go Go Sushi. Our date nights we generally stay in Norman so we go to BJ's, the Hibachi place by Salt Grass (I can't think of the name), or Texas Roadhouse.

Casual places we go to are Pei Wei, Five Guys, or Panera.

I love sushi so much and O Asian Fusion in Norman is probably my favorite for that. We can't get out of there for under $80, but I just can't help myself. 

For a little more budget friendly dinner I love Mama Roja or something like Ghengis Grill.

Saii is slowly beating out Okura as my favorite sushi place. Part of that is the atmosphere. Saii is very romantic, before for a date.

I also love Picasso (proscuitto pizza, y'all) but it is often loud with bands or open mic or whatever.

Zorba's is another fave. Their veggie sampler platter is so good.

OOOH, Sophabella's is a great date spot with great atmosphere, too.

I loved Saii as well...until my sister in law and I went there to eat and both ended up sick as dogs a few hours later.  I felt horrid for a couple days, and so did she.  I can't make myself go back...which sucks because they had some really good sushi.  I also have a hard time with how huge their rolls are.  I don't have a small mouth by any means and I never seem to be able to fit them in one bite. Lol.

We love Musashi's and P.F. Changs (their lettuce wraps are awesome!) We usually stick to cheaper places though, like Genghis Grill, Texas Roadhouse, Charleston's, Louie's.
