I'm somewhat in your shoes right now. I gave notice last Friday thinking I'd only have Monday and Tuesday off this week before my induction. But now that we've pushed the induction back, I'm off all week (unless he decides to come sooner). At first I was regretting the decision to not go back to work this week and waste part of my FMLA leave early (like at 10 am on Monday when I was already bored out of my mind!!). But now I'm grateful for the time to clean, cook, prepare, sleep in, and just relax. Although I've probably spent more time messing around on the computer than actually being productive or taking advantage of being off work. But I'm OK with that and who knows when I'll ever have this time to myself again.
However, if you have the ability to work at home at your own pace, that might not be so bad. I personally could not have forced myself to go into work and deal with people this week, but working at home might have been a good alternative if that were a possibility with my job.
Good luck with whatever you decide. And if you do decide to just be done with work, enjoy the time and don't feel guilty for one second!! Hopefully baby will come any day then you won't have to worry about your decision!

I vote work until you have the baby. There's nothing worse than sitting around *waiting* for something to happen.
Of course, I went to a track meet and was in school all day during labor with my last two kids, sooo....
Yes,I'm smiling...I'm a marathoner!
