I will finish the third book today and still think they will be better movies than books.
Does her inability to make a decision bother you? I liked her a lot in the first book, but my feelings have waned.
That's it, we're breaking up. I could look past the chocolate thing. I really had to think about the pizza thing. But this is the last straw. It's over. I'll always love you & remember you fondly, but I have to move on.
I think I wavered as much as she does in the book! I loved Gale in the beginning and Peeta the rest of book 1, I was torn in book 2 and team Peeta in the end.
Once the books were over I wanted more!

I wanted to know more about Peeta, Gale, and her mom, maybe even her fashion team and Efie. How are they doing how is everyone adjusting to the new world? Did they make it more democratic or just put someone seemingly more just in charge in Paylor. Katiss no.

I totally agree about Katniss. I stopped liking her in the 3rd book. But I also loved Peeta from the get-go, Gale never did much for me.
Almond, I'm with you on the follow up. I hate the sudden way it all ended!
I'm really, really looking forward to the first movie! The author wrote the screenplay so it should follow close to the book.
Alright ladies I didn't know Lenny Kravitz is playing Cinna. Still stand by my theory that the movies will be better than the books.
And I'll be watching for the trailer during the Super Bowl even though I've seen it online. Visually spectacular.
I'm still not thrilled with this casting choice. He's too old to play Cinna. Cinna's supposed to be this young genius at the beginning of his career. Lenny Kravitz is well into his 40s. He's a very talented individual (and nice to look at), so I'm sure he'll do a great job. But IMO this casting choice was only one better than Woody Harrelson as Haymitch.
Donald Sutherland as President Snow was a choice that thrilled me. That man has always completely creeped me out & he was who I pictured as Snow the whole time I was reading the books.
Agree on Donald Sutherland as an excellent choice - he is creepy!
Who would you have had for Haymitch? Matthew Mac would be good IMO.
I really don't know. WH is just all wrong to me, he's always been happy-go-lucky-naive-Woody-from-Cheers. The complete opposite of Haymitch.
See I haven't read the cast list at all and now I'll have to. I don't like that LK had a scruffy beard. I pictured Cinna as clean shaven and well put together.
I like Donald Sutherland as Snow. Very good choice.
Matthew Mac is not my choice for Haymitch at all. I always pictured the guy that played the Russian father in 2012 accent and all.
