1st birthday gift for my nephew ....

Our nephew is turning 1 in mid Feb and we are at a total loss as to what we should get him. Although we do not have kids of our own, we feel like our nephew is not where he should be developmentally (we tried to bring this up to brother-in-law and his wife but they see no issue) - the baby barely sits up on his own, has not spoken his first word yet, just started rolling over on his own, no where near crawling .... Everything we look at for the 12months+ toys seems to advanced for him .... Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

well my son was 1 in sept and he got A TON OF TOYS!! so maybe dont get a toy? my nephew will be 1 in a month and am getting him a growth chart with his name on it from Etsy, along with some toddler plates,bowls & utensils.

I usually get Disney stock for christening and/or 1st birthdays and frame it.

I gave my best friends little boy a check for his college fund because I knew how many toys and clothes he would get (and he got a TON). I know they appreciated not needing more space for toys and and he will appreciate it when he's paying for college or whatever he decides to do in 18 years.

I'm getting my nephew his own personalized PBK anywhere chair. He LOVES sitting in my kids' chairs when he's here. He'll be one in March.
