I'm so bored... and it's my own fault
Re: I'm so bored... and it's my own fault
I have a terrible immune system and I'm currently getting over something now. I'll probably be sick again in a week.
Good Will Hunting, hands down.
I don't really have one. Samantha Brown or Anthony Bourdain's, would be awesome. Or something working with animals, like at a zoo or training/researching dogs.
For groceries, I really like Trader Joes and Target, lol.
Does Kohl's count?
Hmm... amazon.
I'd have to say CSI: Las Vegas, back when Grissom was on it. I watch several, though...
Thanks! Orange is my favorite color, so he was subject to it.
I would love Anthony Bourdain's job! Actually any celebrity chefs job. I heart Food Network.
Ooh, awesome! Let's be gossip buddies about it!
Formal name is Sir August (H and I got married in August), but we call him Augi.
Totally! I love talking about books with people. My bf lives in another state and he was my go to about books and movies. Now I have no one.
Hah! It's not that much to keep track of. I hate shoe shopping. I wear a tiny size 5-6 and it's often hard to find shoes in that size I like.
Ha ha that's great.
Oh me too! When will technology catch up so we can choose all the channels we want, and just those? Like a Pick 5 - I'd have Discovery Channel, Food Network, Animal Planet...
Well, you're in the Seattle-ish area, yeah? Let's plan a little meetup for coffee/tea and talk about it!
I don't keep up with movies that're coming out much. I usually get in the mood to see a movie, then check to see if anything sounds interesting, lol. I want to see Woman in Black!
That would be fun! I live up north in Mukilteo. But I'm sure there is a halfway point that we could meet.
I would pick Food Network, HGTV, Discovery, History, and E!. Gotta have my celeb news.
Definitely! When do you think you'll be done with the book? I could check in with you in a couple weeks.
emy, your DH and my DH would probably make great friends. DH is going to take a six-month sabbatical from work and I'm like, 'Oh, great, let's travel the world!' He was like, 'You get one trip. I'm going to learn to program iOS.' He is sitting on the couch right now reading about it for fun.
Then again, he also took along 'Advanced Calculus of Several Variables' for his poolside reading when we went to Hawaii last summer. In contrast, I took 'Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.' We do not share books.
I agree with all of those except HGTV... My mom would have nothing but that on during the weekends in our house. You'd think I'd pick something up from all that watching, but I can't decorate or garden to save my life... lol
We should get all 3 of our H's together. They both sound like mine!
It should be here any day now, just ordered it from Amazon. So most likely I will be done with it within 2 weeks. I'm a fast reader.
Under the Dome will be here Sat. I ordered 3 new books cause I've run out. I am horrible when I run out of books. I constantly read. Can't wait to read it!
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
Yes to this! It's a man-date. Whenever I come back up to Seattle I usually plan a lunch or dinner or drinks with my girlfriends and I don't want H to tag along, so I will contact one of his friends still in Seattle, arrange for them to hang out, and then tell him I scheduled him a play date.
I think I may love you. I do the same thing with my H when we're back in NC! Let's definitely set a man-date the next time you're here.
