I'm like beyond annoyed right now.
So last week we had our septic inspection. They come. They say they can't reach the tank, the lid is 5 feet down, we need to hire a backhoe to come on and dig it up.
They charge us 125 or 150 as a show up fee and we have to reschedule the inspection. Nothing available until today, so we had to extend our inspection period. We had to hire a guy with a backhoe for 80/hr to come dig out the tank for access.
The spot that they said was the lid, was just a piece of slate over part of the tank. The lid, 4 feet over, was only a foot under ground. Diggable with a shovel and just how it's supposed to be.
They are soooo lucky DH is the calm one and that I'm not there.
