DH and I have a date planned for Friday night at the Capital Grille in Baltimore. Anyone been and have food recommendations? Smile

Re: Capital Grille

  • I used to go for lunch quite a bit when I worked in the city and it was wonderful. I haven't been for dinner but I've heard the steaks are excellent.
  • A friend of mine goes there at least once/year with her husband for special occasions and her parents are huge fans as well - they seem to like just about everything. My friend especially likes their bread pudding, if you're into that sort of thing.

  • I work right next door and I usually go for lunch during restaurant week.  Their crab and lobster burger (cake?) is amazing.  I am not a huge cheesecake fan, but theirs was so good!
  • their steaks are fabulous, as is their tuna.  i've only been once, but their tuna steak was amazing.

  • The balsamic delmonico is fabulous. I forget what it's really called but it's something like that. Yummy. I have never been when they didn't do free dessert so that's a plus :) the garlic mashed potatoes are delicious too. It's been a while since I have been there but that is what is sticking out to me. The kona rubbed steaks are also excellent.

Haha. I've been drooling all week thinking about it. Food Coma here I come!

  • The lobster mac and cheese is the best!  It was so great I don't even remember what my main dish was!

  • They have a chocolate hazelnut cake that is my absolute favorite dessert on this earth. DH took me there after we had dinner somewhere else one time because he knows how much I love that cake!! (The steaks are delicious too, but I think that cake is out of this world)

  • First I wanted cake, thanks to Carrie in the WFL thread. Now I want steak and lobster mac & cheese and chocolate hazelnut cake.

Pregnant lady shouldn't read food-centric threads.

  • You cannot go wrong with any of their steaks.

Get several sides to share, I love them all.
