In clicker training, timing is everything!
I thought those of you who do clicker training might find this funny.
I was clicker training Dixie to touch an object last night, and things were going pretty well until I messed up my timing. As she touched, I went to click but didn't quite get my timing right, and I accidentally clicked just as she overshot the object and accidentally bumped my in the crotch.
So, of course, she thought that was the trick, and kept doing it to try to get a treat. Uggghhh! Wonder how long it will take to extinguish that one? :sigh: And the worst part is I can't even be annoyed at her because I taught her to do it.
Sometimes having a dog that's a quick learner is not a good thing! LOL

LOL!! I've never used clicker training; Zoey has picked up all the basics/simple stuff without one, but I've been considering getting one for future (hopefully harder) behaviors.
Oh Dixie! I hope you're smart enough to unlearn that trick real quick!

bwahaha! that's actually one of the reasons i dislike clicker training...it can be a difficult learning curve for some people.
Have you seen my monkey?
LOL!
