Anyone heard anything about Christ Lutheran preschool in HR?

Anyone have kid(s) there or have you heard anything about them?

  • I've heard good things - DS will be 3 in August and it is one of the schools we looked at. We know several families who have/had kids there. You can call/e-mail them and they'll give you a tour. I think their registration deadline for the fall has already passed, but don't think class assignments are finalized yet.

We also looked at St. Luke right next door and like them too.

  • Just checked their website... looks like registration is open still. They don't actually give a deadline.

  • I toured there and Little Lukes yesterday, they both have openings still.  I just wanted to hear what parents had to say too, that is always the tell all!

I liked both places but they seemed a little cramped feeling and not a lot of natural light, though I dont think kids care about that.  He is at St. Andrews now and we love it there, very big and open feeling and huge windows (not in a basement like the other two) but the tuition is going up again and it is just way to expensive for us now.  :0(

  • I agree about the cramped/no light feeling - especially at Christ Lutheran. But I have heard good things about both (sorry, no direct experience yet). I think it's going to be a gut decision for us.

  • They seemed nice and the kids looked happy.  I think we are going to try Christ Lutheran because their times work better with our schedule.  My younger ones would still be able to get a nap before pick up which is huge, lol.
