I brought him home from the vet yesterday night and he was still all loopy and collapsing (when walking, his back legs weren't working right from the anesthesia). It was pretty cute, in a sad sort of way.
Today he's up and at 'em. Unfortunately, in digging out the broken tooth's root (canine tooth), the vet got close to the sinus cavity, so he's had a nosebleed since yesterday. Poor little goober keeps licking and sneezing. The vet says this should stop today or tomorrow, and if not, I have to bring him back in. *sigh*
But he hasn't had a behavioral problem since we brought him home. Hobbes has been growling at him - I'm guessing because he smells like the vet office - but Hobbes is easily deterred by the squirt bottle.
So, all that to say - thanks for the T&Ps, everyone! We're on the road to recovery and better behavior here.
Re: Cat update, if you're interested
Yay! Hope everything stays on the positive! And his behavior stays on track!
(I love the squirt bottle! It doesn't work on our cat, he's a freak and likes it, but works wonders on our dogs!)
