And I wanna cry! I specifically called my insurance company before I went to see her to find out about filing claims (they don't file the insurance for you) and was told it didn't matter if she was in or out of network the only difference would be how long I had to file a claim. Fine. Well I just called to check on my first 2 claims and they've been denied because she's "out of network". Well why didn't they tell me I didn't have out of network coverage when I called in the first place!?!?
So now I need a new counselor and I don't wanna. But I can't afford to pay her. (and now I have to file an appeal to try to get some of my money back since I was given wrong info)
But I liked her. And don't wanna just pick a name from a list. And I don't wanna have a gazillion 1st appointments if I don't like who I pick from a hat.
Im really upset about this ![]()
How do I pick a new counselor?
Re: Have to find a new counselor :(
Yup.
Print out a list of the people who are in network and ask her whose approach is most similar to hers.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
