stolen from ML:What one thing do you wish you had known about your H before you got married?
also stolen from ML what is one thing your H wishes he had known about you.

Re: stolen from ML:What one thing do you wish you had known about your H before you got married?
We lived together over a year before we got married. It gave us time to learn each others quirks.
Well, I am going with before we got together, because when we got married, I already knew everything....
Him: That he sleeps all the time.
Me: That I am picky about cleaning.
Hard to say because we also lived together before getting hitched. I guess I would say that he brushes his teeth many, many times a day. Almost as much as I floss in a day!
Me: Probably that I am not a morning person on any level. But, he knew this when we lived together too.
Like PP we found all this out when we lived together.
Him: He's SUPER antsy. Most people wouldn't have a problem with this, but I'm a weirdo who likes to chill out.
Me: I'm sure he would have like to know exactly how heavy of a sleeper I am before we got dogs. LOL I do feel bad so I've been trying (I don't even know if you can try in this situation) to be more attentive.
Him - how anal he is about dirty dishes being in the sink
Me - how much I don't care about leaving dirty dishes in the sink!

I'm the rare breed that lived with H when I got married (not by choice, long story) I wish I had known his living style...that way I would've gotten a place of my own lol.
With him: he probably wished he knew about my computer addiction lol
I'll also have to answer for "before we moved in together".
Me: He's a slob.
Him: I'm a neat freak.
I wish I had known he was part nudist when he's at home. I don't mind this most of the time now, but at first I was amazed at how much naked time he likes to spend around the house.
I am sure he wishes he had known about my grouchiness in the mornings. If I am ever to snap at him for little reason it is always for something that occured before 10 am on my sleep IN day.
We lived next door to each other in college, which is when we hooked up. A year later (he graduated a year before me), we moved into a tiny studio apartment together. 7 years later we got married. There were really no surprises at any point...he already knew I was a slob and I already knew he was a Red Sox fan.
I wish I had known how attached to his parents he is.
I bet he wishes he had known how controlling I can be...like, needing things done a certain way.
I wish I would have known what a homebody J would turn into.
J probably wishes he'd known that I had every intention of seeing the entire world and doing some crazy things while I'm there.
An American Girl's Travels
Before living together, I wish I had known how OCD he was about "clutter" on the counters. (Even the coffee pot should be put away, if he had it his wasy!)
He wishes he had known that I didn't care about things being on the counter, especially things used everyday.
This is the exact opposite of us! lol. I can't stand it and my H doesn't care.
Other than this, there's not much we didn't know about each other before getting married or moving in together. We'd been together 5 years beforehand and were friends for a couple of years even before that.
