My 2YO is up my asss

I can't walk out of the room or her sight for 1 second. If I could lock myself in a room without having to hear her scream, I would. She plays independently, dances, colors, watches TV all on her own, but I have to be in her sights. fml...kidding! But really, wtf man!?

Re: My 2YO is up my asss

  • Ha!

I still remember being a teenager and my mom telling me how I used to be right next to her all.the.time, always in the way when she would try to open doors or pay at the cash register or go to the bathroom. I thought she was exaggerating. Now I know she wasn't.

  • I've actually knocked her over a few times this week because she was right behind me when I turned around or she stepped right in front of me. I need a day off! lol

  • I can't tell you how many times I've stepped on K or knocked into her, especially when I'm cooking. We now have a rule that if she's in the kitchen it's because she's on her chair helping me. Otherwise I was worried I'd drop hot water on her or something.

    I hear ya!

  • Oooh man I am right there with you. If I'm not 3 inches from her at all times, she says "hand?" and takes my hand to pull me on the floor or chair with her. She is currently climbing all over me. And if I close the bathroom door to pee, she knocks and says "come in?? Open door??" I totally feel your pain!

lol I've done that too! Jules would climb up my body if she could. It's fine until I need to do something. I was amazed to see my friend's son play in a different room from us at a playdate. She wouldn't go play without me there. Then, when my husband gets home from work, she tells me "oh-way" (go away. Lol).
