Anyone familiar with Secaucus?
I've only been up there once but am working on Pkaza Drive, off Harmon Meadow, beginning next week. Last time I went I got so freakin lost on my way home. All I need to do is get to the Turnpike coming out of that Plaza Drive complex. Can someone break it down for me? I have GPS but it led me astray last time, lol

If you get on Paterson Plank Road (That's the light where if you go straight you go into Best Buy/Ashley parking lot) and make the right you just stay on that road (left...all of the other exits on the right will loop you to Route 3 and/or the mall/shops) go over the bridge (takes you over Route 3) ...you'll see Home Depot on your left...keep going straigh & go under the next bridge (that's the turnpike) and as soon as you pass it you should see the entrance to turnpike south.
Secaucus is very confusing...I grew up in Union City and got tired of fighting the tunnel traffic to get home so I learned a lot of the side streets in Secaucus.
Secaucus is definitely confusing and it's sooo different now with all of the new stores, etc. I'm sure you'll be fine...the more I think about it the best way to Turnpike South is definitely Paterson Plank Road since you end up right at the toll plaza so no merging madness on 495 during rush hour. Good Luck!
I live in town and in that area very often. However, I don't know the street names, just the store locations. So assuming you are coming from the Pier 1/Red Lobster parking lot and are at the light, go straight toward Raymour & Flanigan and get on Route 3 West. Follow Rt 3 over the bridge and follow signs for Turnpike North.
Easiest way to get to Turnpike South...if you are facing the entrance to Sam's/Walmart, make a right at the light. Follow road to end, make a right at the light (Paterson Plank Rd.) You will pass under an overpass and make a right onto Turnpike South (there's an Indian restaurant Mausam at the corner). Hope this helps!
