DH and I ate/drank our way thru Mendoza and Buenos Aires. Thank you all for your recommendations. Some of our favorites were; Azafran, Bodega Saletein, Bodega and Bolasco. In Buenos Aires it was Cabrera and Gorriti 5737.
In Buenos Aires we also did the tour Emily recommended with John. It was a great tour and we were the only ones on it so that was nice.
It was an expensive trip, but well worth it (even with me using miles for my airline ticket).
We can't wait to go back to South America next year.

Mmm La Cabrera is yummy! H and I went there 2x while we were there.
Emily (hi! Long time no "see") the wait is long, but I think it was worth it. Plus, both times we had amazing waiters that gave us things like free wine bottles (not sure if it was because I spoke Spanish and was not rude like some of the others waiting). Otherwise, you can make reservations for 8pm. You should definitely check it out!
