Yes she did have to wear it. I can't imagine wanting to wear a mini skirt with mess panties and enormous pads but more power to her.

No. I will not horrify you with what comes out of you the day after you give birth. But a "lighter pad" would just result in an enormous mess.

Yes this. For real. There's just no absolute way. It took weeks before light pads were at all possible.

I would put $5 on she threw the dress on for a photo and then changed into some sensible slacks for the ride home.  Unless they live next door to the hospital or something.

I do agree that she looks good; however, I'd bet it's much better looking in a picture than in person. Post birth Santa belly is never cute.
