Looks like this might be our biggest snow yet this year, the forecast says 12-22" for the urban corridor?! I wonder how much there has to be to close state government...
Re: Snow forecast
I'm in the snow camp of go huge or don't bother coming in the first place. By all means, shut the city down but don't drop just enough to f--k everything up but make us all still have to go out, please and thank you.. I'm kind of looking forward to being home all day tomorrow watching out the window from the sofa with the dog in my lap. I'd just be happier about this if N didn't have to come home from his dad's house in it tomorrow night or if I could just let N stay put there an extra night... which I can't because he has a belt test on Saturday morning that his dad can't take him to.
ugh, I'm not looking forward to it at all. I work at a hospital and have to go in no matter what.
I'm hoping it cancels schools and work for everyone else so there won't be anyone on the road
Feel your pain there. Which should be fun as I'm betting daycare is closed tomorrow (and in any event not sure I want to make the trek to and from with the kids) so the kids will be running around.

My boss has a 30 mile drive to work. If she wants to stay home, we both stay home - and she has no intentions of driving in tomorrow.
Only downside... I'm still 9 days away from being PTO eligible.

I hated those days. Trying to keep my big guys quiet (and now, LittleG) was always fun. Hope you are quick with the mute button!

Let the festivities begin! And by that I mean the snow dance, sleeping with pajamas inside out and spoons under pillows, and flushing ice cubes down the toilet. Let's do this!!!!!
I told the kids that if we have a snow day, I'll be calling each of them and giving them their spelling test over the phone.

Welcome! And I totally agree... I want tons of snow or nothing!
This snow storm timing is freaking me out now, seeing as I'm 4 days overdue. My fear with being due at the end of January was that there would be a big storm that would make it difficult to get to the hospital. We're delivering at Lutheran in Wheat Ridge, but we live near DU, so it's a bit of a drive. At this point, I'd rather just wait to be induced on Sunday then have to deal with with the snow in the off-chance he comes tonight or tomorrow. Of course, nothing happened earlier this week when it was 60+ out and sunny.

Josh is supposed to be flying out tomorrow. Here's hoping they both make it!
