my brother was released from the hospital

he didn't actually hurt himself but just threatened-he was sitting on the ledge of his dorm room and wouldn't come down even when the cops told him to. they seem to think he's ok and he met with his dean today...they are letting him back to school. to be honest, i'm not thrilled with the idea of him going back. i can only imagine what talk is going on around campus. it's going to be hard for him to re-acclimate and may make him more depressed.  

thanks for the prayers the other day. i'm glad he's safe but i'm really more worried about him going forward, especially the next few days and weeks.

I work for a university and I can assure you he might be better off back in school. We have had students in this situation and let me tell you he will be watched. Many people will be looking out for him to make sure he is in classes if not where he is. He will probably also be required to check in to the counseling center.

my dad said he has to fulfill some kind of treatment but i'm not sure of the specifics. i'm sure it's therapy but no clue how much.

yeah, i hope you're right. i'm kind of thinking it's going to be extremely difficult wether he's at school with that drama or at home with my dad and stepmom and their drama and the drama they'll put him through.  it's a smaller school so hopefully he will have some extra eyes on him now
