I will hopefully sew another strip onto the floor cushion Im making. Every little bit counts right
Yes I mean basically Im going to sew two 32in pieces of fabric together! Last weekend I managed to do that, although it was my first time sewing minky and I managed to sew one piece of minky and one piece of cotton together. That'll be the plan for this week....Im setting manageable expectations... well maybe!
I also need to make a birthday card. DH takes photos of all the cards I make but they never get further than his computer. Im going to have to get them all in order one day and sort them out and AW some of them!!
Oh and Im working on DS's naps... does that count? The longer his naps become the more I can craft
I am hoping to buy material this week to make those oversize felt envelopes for Valentine's day.
I need to work on some posts for my blog of some crafts I have done.
Need to finish up a birthday present
Stand up for something you believe in.

Head bands!!! I was running early for work and decided to hit the Joann's across the street from my office and spotted some lovely Patriots fabric in the remnants bin. If I can move my butt, I'll make a couple headbands for the girls @ work tomorrow and some more for Sunday's party.
GO PATS!!!! We will GRONK you!!
We find out boy/girl tomorrow. So...hopefully working on photos for gender reveal (I have a couple ideas) and beginning to craft for the new baby!
And I've been making oodles of small bags to store tiny pieces in. I think I'm nesting early.
My business partner and I finally finished the tutu we have been working on for the past month. We thought we were going to get paid for it today, but they are coming tomorrow morning so that we can get photos of the tutu on the dancer. We are really in love with this tutu....I think it is my favorite tutu that we have made/embellished.
We thought we had finished a quick costume we put together for her to use for her competition piece from Carmen, but after they showed an 'in progress' photo to the coach and studio director, they (the coach and director want changes. Really stupid changes, considering that the photo they saw was a cell phone photo that didn't even show the colors properly so they missed the way we connected the colors and made it work. It looks so much better in person.
I just forwarded my business partner the emails about the changes, and she is furious and says no. Now we are both tired and grumpy and I will have to talk her into some small changes in the morning before we meet with them. That means that I have to come up with a plan and the fabric by 10am. I think we've pretty much used everything that we could from my stash, but I am going to give it another look, and if all else fails, I will have to go to Target and anywhere else that opens early to see what I can come up with.
Phooey! I just want this job to be over so that I can have my life back.
I am new but I will start right in.
I have some 18 inch doll clothes to finish this week to donate to a local silent auction. I am making a Cinderella gown, a tshirt and a wrap skirt for a doll. Not time consuming, just annoying now.
I finished 6 dance costume last week and was so happy to see those out the door.
Not a whole lot. I did finish the bed skirt from hell (made from our old slipcovers). They are like a faux suede and look absolutely awesome on DD's bed (will look better with her new quilt), but man was it a pain! Had to drag out my old POS machine to use the ruffler foot (because the foot doesn't fit on my new Pfaff), and found that after it was repaired/tuned up last fall, the shank went missing (I'm thinking the repaiman took it off for the bit of free motion sewing he did to check the tension and it never got put back on), so I had to do all those ruffles by hand. Holy cow. Buying a ruffler foot for my Pfaff pronto! I'll just wait and AW her room all at once, because I'm working on several things at once.
Painting a small bench to go at the foot of her bed. It's a color called Retro Pink and is SO fun! I can't wait to get it done. Then I'm painting several frames aqua for a mini photo wall and I will probably call that good, because I need to start working on baby's room.
I got the baby girl quilt fabric (Love My Honey from Connecting Threads), so I'm dying to start chopping into that.
Mom and I are going to an Old Bag Night (take an old project and sew for 5 hours with 10 other old bags :P) next Friday, so I will hopefully have DD's quilt top done by then so I can work on baby girl quilt.

Lapsed poster here. ;-)
I'm going to sew from my first Fishsticks Design pattern. Making the newborn gown modification for the lap tee pattern. I haven't sewn baby clothes for a long, long time so I'm kind of nervous!
