The only other random character I've cast is Beetee - I have him pictured as Bernard from LOST. 

I like that choice for Beetee.

I think WH is too pretty for Haymitch as are some others we've listed.  The drawing was supposed to be random and not everyone chosen was beautiful or even able.  I picture Haymitch like that.  He won because he was smart- not that you can't be both.  Finnick was the handsome charmer.  Who got cast as Foxface?

Alright Nesties, we need to write our own book so we can cast people the way we want :-)

I agree with you! I think he will play the role well.

I have a hard time picturing other tributes because I think of them as older actors. Finnick and Johanna interest me because they should be in their early 20's. I can't place a face for Johanna and she was a favorite of mine.

So now I'm searching all of the castings.  I'm falling in love with Rue and Thresh.  Not what I had pictured but will work very well

This is my Haymitch

 

He's too fat for my Haymitch.  Katniss does call him fat in the book, but dying of starvation is a daily threat to her life.  Her standard of fat is much different than the American standard of fat.

That's why Gerard Butler would have been perfect.

I pictured Haymitch more like the fat guy above...I didn't necessarily picture him as a used-to-be-attractive guy, just a fat, drunk, paunchy dude.  

For Cinna, for some reason I have always pictured him as black.  I don't know why.  Although LK may be too old, that's the picture I have in my mind.  I also have him in my mind as gay, but not flamboyantly so (which probably wouldn't translate into the movie screen anyway).  I'm not sure who I would want to play Cinna, but I think LK will actually be pretty good.
