disney/orlando weather update please...

i just checked weather.com and it says 40-60% chance of rain/thunderstorms when im going!! (nov 3-6)

i know half the time its not accurate but what do you orlando girls think???

does it really rain in november?

TIA

Re: disney/orlando weather update please...

  • I wouldn't be all that concerned if I were you. For one, your trip is too far out to accurately predict the chance of rain.

If it does rain, I really doubt that it will rain all day for three straight days. Sometimes it happens...it did when I vacationed down here the fall before I moved. lol  But it's not common.

To answer your question, Orlando is like any other city - we can get rain any time of the year!

     Good luck!

  • Yup, it does rain every single month of the year here :)  Heck, we had terrible thunderstorms and tornados on Christmas Day two years ago!

Weather.com says that we'll have scattered showers this weekend and it will probably rain off and on (if it all) during those days.  That website will be your most accurate for weather reports.  It's still chilly here for us right now...it's almost 9:30 a.m. and it's currently 50 degrees outside.  It should start warming up to the mid 70's during the day later today, then go into the 60's at night again.

    Have fun! :)

  • What a great weekend to come to Orlando! They ALWAYS predict that it's going to rain.. but, most cases it's really nothing. I saw on the news this morning that there was a 20% chance- which means it will be raining somewhere in Orlando for about 20 minutes! It will be nice and cool this weekend- (which basically means no humidity) you're really in luck!! Have fun!
  • Okkkkkay so I re-read your post- and you're not coming until Nov. 3rd! I checked the weather- you'll still be okay!
