McDonalds "risky" ad against pit bulls
I heard the ad on the radio yesterday and immediately thought "Man, that's messed up." Then I saw this on my friends facebook, so I'm trying to share it like wildfire. I called, and the lady that took my info was very nice and said she'd already taken several complaints about the ad. Keep them coming! Pits get a bad wrap, and McDonalds just set back so much work people do to help give pits a good name. Please call to complain about this ad.
"McDonalds
has an ad saying that eating their new chicken bites is not as risky as
petting a pit bull. I think that sucks so I called this number and let
them know. It took about 5 mins and my complaint was recorded. I never
really take the time to do things like this but that ad really made me
upset. I really don't think petting a pit bill is very risky, but that
comes from someone that sleeps with one. Please contact Customer
Satisfaction at 1-800-244-6227 & provide them with your feedback on
this commercial."
Re: McDonalds "risky" ad against pit bulls
It's a guy talking about how trying the new chicken bites is less risky than all of these different things. Petting a pit bull is one of them.
My IF blog
Ditto!! I like my chicken REAL for starters. Not that scary, OMG so disgusting processed chicken goop they make nuggets and patties out of. ::gag::
Bring on the pitties!! One of Zoey's bffs at the dog park is a pittie actually.

It was not just one store. Funny enough when I called to complain after hearing the radio commercial, they informed me that they have fielded "literally hundreds of calls" in regards to the commercial, were "aware of the situation," and thanked me.
Here's the link to the radio ad.

I want to thank you for posting this about the McDonald's pit bull ads. YOU are the reason that the ads have been pulled.
One of my friends found your post in a Google Alert that she has about pit bulls. She posted a link to your message on her Facebook wall and I found it about 9:00 am. I began posting to all of the pit bull rescue and advocacy sites and the rest is history.
In less than 7 hours McD's pulled the ads and issued an apology.
This is a perfect example of viral social media at work and if it were not for you this ad might have gone unnoticed.
