Flea control while pregnant question
We are having a flea issue and a pest control service is coming in the morning. I forgot to ask them how long I need to be out of the house since I'm pregnant. Anyone here happen to know?
Re: Flea control while pregnant question
It truly depends on the type of pesticide they use.
There are reentry requirements for all pesticides (for household application it is generally 24-48h so that it is dry and no longer offgassing), but the fact that you are pregnant should alert them to look at the label / MSDS and determine if what they are using happens to be a teratogen and if there are any additional restrictions. Normally they are not since they are used in households, but it's always wise to research what they are using and if you accept the risk with the treatment.
