So proud of Billy re:speech therapy
In a year he has gained b, p, m, k and g is halfway there. We get it through our school district so he had none over the summer and doesn't meet when no school. We practice almost every night and he works hard!

That is just fabulous! I teach speech and wish parents practiced every day with my students! They come to meetings wondering why their kids are not getting all these sounds or doing carry over when they hardly do the homework. They dont understand that 1 to 2 times a week is not enough without home practice!
KUDOS to you!!
PS. do you have an IPAD? There is a cool app that is great for articulation and it's not that expensive! the kids love it. It is called Articpix. You can buy what sounds you want. You can choose initial, medial, final of the card. You touch the card and it says the word, then the kid hits a record button and says it, then they play it back and rate their speech with a happy or sad face. THe program calculates the percentage correct. If you touch the arrow on the card, it turns it over to a sentence, also with record option. Its good to get them to hear their sounds the way we do!
