How the frick do you get eye drops into a 15mos old's eyes??
She needs two in each and I think I got one in one. I thought she only had two arms but I could swear ten were flying at me. And crap, that little 19lb sucker is strong!
Other than two parents being home so one can hold her in a head lock of sorts, how do either of us get two drops in each eye three times a day? Pink eye sucks.

Have her lay back and close her eyes. Put the drop on the inner corner of her eye. Once she opens her eye, it will get in there.
Also, they do have an ointment instead of the drops for kids. FYI for next time.
Same way you get them into a 4 yr old...
This sounds awful but I had her lie on the couch completely flat. Then I put one arm and part of my body over her (to hold down her arms and torso. She was under my armpit) then used the other hand to hold her head and open her eyelid and the holding-down-hand did the drops quick. it was terrible and we were both crying but honestly, just go quick and you'll both be ok.
And yes, drop it into the corner and let it run in.

Hell no. My daughter fa-reaked every single time. Three times a day for 10 days. It sucked!

When they're sleeping....it sounds crazy but has worked with all of my kids. I kind of wedge the dropper in the inner corner of their eye and they blink (I guess it's some kind of reflex) which moves the drops throughout the eye....works like a charm.....I'll usually do it after they've been sleeping a good hour or so
