oh craaaap.....came out to most of my work team

sort of funny story b/c my boss pulled me aside after our meeting to let me know in 2 weeks he will no longer be my boss.  my company is realigning teams and me and another woman are changing bosses after 5 years of being w/ him.  I took it fine, and I started laughing b/c I've been sooo nervous about telling him I was going to be out for a third busy season in 4 years.  I said so I guess it doesn't matter to you then that I'm 8 weeks pg and cracked up.  He was really excited and then just laughed too b/c I'm being "turned over" to the ulitmate guy boss w/ an all guy team who does not know how to deal w/ women let alone PREGNANT women.  LOL.  Oh this is going to be fun.  Then over the course of hanging out I told more people and then just kept saying "I shouldn't tell any of you!  It's too soon!"  They're all like "oh it's fine!!"  Ugh...first appt isn't even till next week.

Don't sweat it. You'll be fine. Who knows your new "guy" boss may be the best boss to have when you are pregnant- sometimes guys are better about that stuff than other women!

I slipped too and told a few people at work super early.  Luckily they kept it on the DL.  Hopefully your coworkers will do the same if you don't want the entire company knowing. ;o)

I was PG for three seconds and told everyone..we went through IUI.  A baby is just such exciting news so you just cant help but want to scream it from the roof tops.  Hugs that all goes well next week and congrats again!!

Hopefully if the new guy is clueless about pg women he is overly cautious and not the insensitive type. I hope the time goes by quick until your appointment, although I know that's not very likely!

The new guy is actually pretty awesome.  We used to hang at the bar and drink after a few work functions.  We love love the Eagles and bust balls of the Giants fans (my boss and another DM).  Working for him will be totally different though.  He's tough from what I heard but I'm pretty excited for a change. 

He did completely avoid me after we lost the baby in 09 though.  It was very obvious at a meeting that he went out of his way not to talk to me.  I don't necessarily blame him b/c for a guy I'm sure it was awkward, but it hurt my feelings.  I just don't want him to be "afraid" of me and treat me different.  That will piss me off.
