Why Pinterest sucks

Now there are no "original" ideas left.  I saw something awhile ago that i wanted for my house- it's original and very much my style. I did not invent it, i snagged it from something else i saw, but it's uncommon, i'd never seen it elsewhere. Now that we're finally under contract on a house i found it again and pinned it, could see myself doing it and got so excited about it.  Then my friend saw it and told me "oh cool i'm doing that!" yeah she owns the house already and will do it "first" and then i'll be a copycat if i do it.

FML.

Put a penis in your kitchen!  I didn't know you were under contract!  Congrats!  Where are you in the process?  We are under contract too.  We had an inspection and are waiting to hear back on what they will fix.  We also locked in our interest rate for our mortgage.  If all goes ok we close March 16.  EExciting and scary!

I still have no idea what the big deal about Pinterest is!!!   I have too many other sites sucking my time away. LOL.

we had the home inspection and today is the last day of the septic inspection. we'd be closing in mid-march sometime. we've been under contract for 3 weeks now, there were a couple hang ups with the inspection scheduling. so hopefully all goes well today! exciting/nervewracking stuff!

i hear ya..it's the same with handmade items i've given to S's classmates and teacher..there is another mom that goes on pinterest so i'm just waiting for the day we give the same gift...lol

septic failed! now we gotta find out if the sellers will put a whole new system in. if not- there's no need for FMK. oh well, i was really looking forward to penis in the kitchen.
