And this is why Louie doesn't sleep in our bed!

Re: Sleeping with pets
Too true!!
Unfortunately, L does sleep in our *little* bed. Naughty H allowed her to start when I was out of town and I didn't have the heart to stop her after his (H's) bad behavior! I love her, but you'd be shocked how much room a relatively small dog can take up!
Life and Love at #16 | our married life blog
I saw this on FB the other day, H and I got a good laugh about it. We call Gloria our little chaperone because she loves to sleep between us. The night before last I rolled over to snuggle with H, and while wondering when his wiskers had gotten so soft, I opened my eyes to realize I was snuggling with the wrong end of the dog!
Edit: To use the appropriate form of a verb.
LOL, love it!
KittyCat used to sleep on my head/face. Not very comfy for the momma, but I'd give anything to share a pillow with him again.
Yes! Jasper is a blanket hog!
While they don't sleep with us, they do get up on the bed for cuddle time. They know down pretty well.
I let them sleep with me when H is gone.
I saw that the other day, and it is too true!
We have an 80 pound pibble that sleeps under our covers, between DH and me, a 50 pound pibble foster that is awesome and sleeps mostly at the foot of the bed, and a 60 pound boxer mix that sleeps next me once we've fallen asleep. For cats, Elliot sleeps curled up next to me, or on my stomach, and Everest will sleep in the middle of the dogs, on me, or DH.
This is all in a queen size bed. We are getting a larger bed this year, even if we do nothing else :P
Too true & funny
When I got my cats, I pictured them curled up nice and small by my feet... but the reality is them jumping on my back in the middle of the night, choosing just the wrong spot so I either nearly squash them or I feel like I'm falling off the bed, and checking for signs of life early in the morning by shoving their whiskers and noses in my face.
